The new master's programme Materials Science and simulation will start in winter term 2010/2011.

The 2-year international Master of Science programme is offered by the engineering department (Fakultät für Maschinenbau) of the Ruhr-University Bochum. Courses will be held in English by internationally recognized experts from the Interdisciplinary Centre for Advanced Materials Simulation (ICAMS), the Institute of Materials Sciences, the department of civil engineering, and the department of physics. The programme is addressed to students who hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, natural sciences, applied mathematics or computer sciences.
