The "Advanced Discussions" are a workshop during which the Interdisciplinary Centre for Advanced Materials Simulations (ICAMS) presents at regular intervals current research highlights for discussion with the participants. It is now open for industrial and academic partners of ICAMS, as well as any scientists that like to get an overview of ongoing activities.
Research projects at ICAMS belong to five major areas, or project groups, which will be represented at the November workshop:
November 11:
Phase Stability and Thermodynamics
Deformation Mechanisms and Phase Transformations
November 12:
Defects and Elementary Processes
Kinetics of Phase Transitions
Transport and Response
The workshop will start on Monday, November 11th after lunch and end on Tuesday, November 12th in the late afternoon. For a detailed program follow the link below.
If you would like to participate in the Advanced Discussions, please register with Mrs. Hildegard Wawrzik, hildegard.wawrzik@rub.de.
Please note that the number of participants is limited. Preference will be given to the industrial and academic partners of ICAMS.
