Here you find information on current teaching activities at ICAMS. We offer a variety of courses: From a Bachelor’s and a Master’s course to the ICAMS Graduate School – there’s something for everyone!

Bachelor’s Course

Materialwissenschaft

ICAMS and the Department of Mechanical Engineering offer the Bachelor’s program Materialwissenschaft. The six-semester program comprises basics in materials science, materials physics and materials informatics. Course language is German.

Master’s Course

Materials Science and Simulation

The Ruhr-Universität Bochum meets the need for material scientists trained in numerical simulation and experimental characterization and processing techniques by the international Master of Science programme „Materials Science and Simulation“ (MSS), hosted by ICAMS. Course language is English.

ICAMS Graduate School

Scalebridging Materials Modelling

ICAMS has established a graduate school for scale-bridging materials modelling at Ruhr-Universität Bochum for doctoral candidates with their research focus on materials modelling, who come from ICAMS, the ICAMS Advanced Study Groups or the Materials Research Department.
