Abstract

Metallic materials draw a great attention in the field of material research due to its extensive application and many useful properties. Alloys composed of two or more metallic elements in different proportion. These constituting elements and their interaction with the host element determine the properties of the alloy material, therefore its applicability under different condition. The behavior of such materials shall be investigated with the aid of computer opened up many possibilities to understand, predict and control their properties. Steel is an alloy consist of iron(Fe), carbon(C) and other elements has been taken for investigation in this work. The main scope is to study the strengthening mechanism due to different carbon concentration in steel.
