Bimolecular recombination of excess charge carriers in polymers was theoretically analyzed in terms of the Rose-Fowler-Vaisberg model. Used in computer-assisted numerical calculations were the model parameters determined previously for poly(N-vinylcarbazole), polystyrene, and poly(ethylene terephthalate) by measuring their radiation-induced conductivity. The obtained results make it possible to choose irradiation conditions that provide the small signal regime used in laboratory tests to determine model parameters for polymers of interest.
