Thermochemical and phase diagram data taken from literature have been critically evaluated with respect to consistency in order to provide the Gibbs energies of liquid and solid phases. The liquid phase was described with the use of the associated solution model, while low and high temperature modifications of Si2Te3 are given as stoichiometric. Phase diagram and thermodynamic functions calculated from the set of optimized parametric descriptions of the Gibbs energies are presented.
